RNF Spa

Services Open Thursday, October 2, and Friday, October 3, in the Exhibit Hall
All conference attendees are encouraged to stop by the RNF Spa in the exhibit hall on Thursday or Friday to make a donation to RNF and renew, rejuvenate, and relax. Pamper your feet, relax your neck and back, learn about aromatherapy, and bring home a customized scent.

All proceeds from the spa will benefit the Rehabilitation Nursing Foundation.

This half-day tour will allow attendees to experience the California Regional Rehabilitation Center (CPRRC), a unique urban rehabilitation center in the heart of San Francisco that has distinguished itself as a national referral center for brain and spinal cord injury.

Integrating Evidence into Practice: Enhancing Nursing Leadership and Improving Patient Outcomes

Creating and sustaining interest in evidence-based practice is central to advancing the profession and elevating the level of care provided by rehabilitation nurses. This evening of dynamic presentations will not only provide real examples of integrating evidence into policy and practice, but the importance of providing leadership to the implementation of evidence-based practice. Representatives from magnet facilities will provide illustrative examples of the creation, implementation, and sustainability of a model evidence-based practice in the clinical setting. This information can be used to implement important changes at the bedside that will ultimately improve patient care and outcomes.

Walk Up and Walk
San Francisco is truly a walker's city. Grab a colleague for this invigorating 1 mile walk through the city. Your guide will point out historical and local landmarks such as the South Market.
