It is critical for practicing nurses to understand and apply evidence at the point of care. Evidence-based practice (EBP) is a process that fosters the implementation of best practices. After defining EBP and discussing its importance, the steps of the EBP process will be explained and strategies explored. Throughout the presentation participants will be challenged with questions and provided with opportunities to reflect individually and in pairs.
