Continuing Education Information

Continuing Education Credit
You can earn 1 nursing contact hour (CH) for every 60 minutes of educational time. You must complete and submit an online evaluation form for each session you attend to receive CHs. CHs available for each session are listed in the schedule of events. Participants can earn up to 3 CHs for evaluating posters.

The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation (ANCC-COA).

ARN is an approved provider of the California Board of Registered Nursing, Provider #CEP14427. ARN has also submitted applications for approval to the Certification of Disability Management Specialists Commission (CDMSC), the Commission for Case Manager Certification (CCM), and the Commission on Rehabilitation Counselor Certification (CRCC).

Sessions marked with this symbol may be recognized for pharmacotherapeutic credit toward ANCC Certified Clincal Nurse Specialist (CNS) and Nurse Practitioner (NP) recertification. These hours may also be reported to your state board of nursing for relicensure.

Faculty Disclosure
In accordance with the ANCC-COA, all continuing nursing education providers are required to disclose to the activity audience the presence or absence of relevant financial relationships of the planners, teachers, and authors involved in the development of continuing nursing education content. An individual has a relevant financial relationship if he or she has a financial relationship in any amount occurring in the last 12 months with a commercial interest whose products or services are discussed in the continuing education activity content over which the individual has control. Any potential conflicts have been resolved prior to the conference. Relationship information will be disclosed either in writing in program materials or verbally in advance of the activity.
