At the end of this course, participants will be able to
Perennial favorite Ginny Beeson returns to the ARN Leadership Course to once again challenge, educate, and energize rehabilitation nursing leaders, exploring the culture of leadership and the direct correlation between establishing one and achieving unit success. Ms. Beeson will challenge participants to think critically about what building a “culture of leadership” means and understand how to develop one. Ms. Beeson will engage participants by presenting the challenges and explaining the techniques and tools that can be used to overcome them. Attendees will also be given valuable opportunities to collaborate with nursing peers as well as ARN leaders who will serve as facilitators to discuss goals and implementation plans.
Participants will spend the morning in a lively interactive discussion session as well as small-group activities on building this culture. In the afternoon, attendees will discuss and practice how to engage, coach, motivate, and energize staff to become active members of the leadership team and help make the culture of leadership a reality. Attendees will leave with specific goals to pursue and tangible, practical ideas they can use to motivate their staff to become higher performers.
