Online Continuing Education

Purpose
The primary goals of ARN continuing nursing education are to increase awareness of new trends in rehabilitation health care and to support the continued growth of the specialty of rehabilitation nursing and individual nurses. Individual activity objectives can be accessed by logging on to each posstest.

Objectives
Each article will have relevant objectives, but the overall objective for this educational activity is to provide rehabilitation nurses with the opportunity for learner-directed continuing education that will benefit their clinical practice and thus their patients and their families.

Activity Audience
This independent study offering is appropriate for all rehabilitation nurses.

Continuing Education Credit
Each article provides 1 nursing contact hour.

The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center’s Commission on Accreditation.

Disclosure
A staff member, volunteer (committee member or RNJ author), or family member who has an affiliation with a commercial company must declare that relationship in advance of involvement with an education activity that could be used as a forum to promote the interest of that company and its products.

If there are any disclosures to report, they will be indicated in the individual activity.

Off-Label Use
Any articles containing off-label use will be indicated.

These journal articles offer one nursing contact hour each. You may complete all the articles from each issue or only one or two.

Please note the expiration date for each set of articles. The expiration date is different for each volume of the journal. The individual articles appearing below are approved for continuing nursing education for a period of  two years.

Earning contact hours on-line is easy:

3. Answer the posttest questions and submit them for grading.
4. Login/register and make payment (only $10 per contact hour).
