
The Professional Rehabilitation Nursing (PRN) Course is designed for nurses new to rehabilitation nursing or who may float to rehabilitation units. It also provides a thorough overview of the rehabilitation specialty for experienced nurses studying to take the CRRN® Exam.
PRN Online provides a comprehensive education in rehabilitation nursing concepts and clinical skills. Session slides are presented with voice over instruction by expert faculty with clinical and teaching backgrounds. Essential knowledge and best practices for the rehabilitation nurse are taught in 3 modules covering 25 different topic areas. Each teaching module can be done incrementally. Upon successfully completing the three posttests, students will earn 23 contact hours (CEs).
The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN) is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.

You can earn one nursing contact hour for every 60 minutes of educational time. You must complete a post test for each module and submit an evaluation form to receive contact hours. There are a maximum of 23 contact hours available for this course. No partial credit is available.
ARN is accredited as a provider of continuing nursing education by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation.
The course material and tests will be available until July 31, 2012. After that date, only copies of completed CNE certificates will be available. A high-speed internet connection is recommended to view the programs.
