ARN Mission

ARN's mission is to promote and advance professional rehabilitation nursing practice through education, advocacy, collaboration, and research to enhance the quality of life for those affected by disability and chronic illness.

Why Connect with ARN?

The Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN), founded in 1974, is a not-for-profit professional organization with more than 5,400 professional nurse members who work in a variety of practice settings: general hospitals, home healthcare operations, rehabilitation and long-term care facilities, private practice, community and government agencies, insurance companies, educational institutions, and private consulting firms. ARN is the largest, most influential group of rehabilitation nurses in the nation. ARN offers two levels to connect with our members:

Industry Relations Council (IRC) Participant

The ARN Industry Relations Council allows you to connect in a more significant way with leaders in rehabilitation nursing. It is designed to:

  • Provide a format for establishing and building relationships
  • Foster open dialogue among key industry representatives who have ties to the specialty of rehabilitation nursing
  • Gain greater understanding of mutual areas of interest
  • Further programs that promote educational programming with the end result of optimal cost-effective care for patients in a rehabilitation setting

Becoming a Corporate or Facility Supporter of ARN offers year-long recognition and a discount on multiple opportunities at the annual conference. It maximizes your visibility among our members and provides access to our leadership at the President’s Reception held at the conference.
