Are You Interested in Holistic Health and Holistic Nursing?
Given the positive response we received during the Holistic Health Meet and Greet at the 2014 ARN conference in Anaheim, we would like to take the next step in making this an official special interest group (SIG) for members that would address holistic health and nursing. Holistic nursing, or the integral nursing theory, includes any form of nursing practice that takes the whole person into account, including mind, body, and spirit. Holistic nursing has always embraced complementary and alternative modalities (CAM) practices, so CAM would be a component of the SIG discussions.
To make this an official SIG, we are asking for at least 50 members to sign up by April 3, 2015. Please indicate your interest in joining the Holistic Health SIG by updating your member profile.
