Rehabilitation Nursing Foundation

Mission

The Rehabilitation Nursing Foundation is dedicated to advancing rehabilitation nursing practice by promoting, supporting, conducting and disseminating research to improve the quality of healthcare to individuals with disability or chronic illness.

Vision

As healthcare technology advances, more people are surviving injuries and diseases that once would have been fatal. People experiencing chronic illnesses are living longer, and the need for rehabilitation services continues to expand.

The Rehabilitation Nursing Foundation provides innovative research to ensure that nurses are ready to meet the changing rehabilitation needs of our society. The foundation cultivates funds for research projects, publications, and educational programs that strengthen the skills of rehabilitation nurses and prepare them for these challenges.

The Rehabilitation Nursing Foundation (RNF) is a tax-exempt foundation established in 1976 by the Association of Rehabilitation Nurses (ARN), the membership organization for professional rehabilitation nurses that has nearly 6,000 members worldwide. The foundation is dedicated to advancing rehabilitation nursing practice by promoting, supporting, and conducting research and providing knowledge to improve the delivery of rehabilitative care.

For more information complete the on-line Information Request Form or call the ARN office at 800/229-7530 or 847/375-4710.
