Scholarships
ARN NIWI Scholarship
Do you want to learn more about public policy or advocate for rehabilitation nurses on Capitol Hill? The Nurses in Washington Internship (NIWI) provides nurses with the opportunity to learn how to influence health care through the legislative and regulatory processes.
Participants
- learn from health policy experts and government officials
- network with other nurses
- visit members of Congress
The recipient of the scholarship will join other ARN representatives in Washington, DC.

BSN Scholarship
ARN offers financial assistance in the form of a $1,000 scholarship to nurses working toward a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) degree.
Scholarship eligibility requirements include:
- membership and involvement in ARN
- enrollment in a Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) program in good standing and successful completion of at least one course
- current practice in rehabilitation nursing
- a minimum of 2 years’ experience in rehabilitation nursing
The application is available as a form-fillable Word document. The application deadline is June 1, 2010.
Mary Ann Mikulic Scholarship
The Mary Ann Mikulic Scholarship offers one full tuition scholarship for the new Professional Rehabilitation Nursing Online Course. The new Professional Rehabilitation Nursing Online Course features on demand study and is available on the ARN Web site beginning early July.
Eligibility requirements include:
- Registered Nurse
- Currently practicing in the specialty of Rehabilitation Nursing
