The 2011 37th Annual Education Conference was one of the highest attended in ARN’s recent history. Las Vegas provided the perfect backdrop for the excitement and energy on display throughout the week’s informative sessions, events, and exhibits. In true Las Vegas fashion, the opening session featured a musical tribute to Elvis in the form of the sensational Elvetas Immediate Past President Kathy Doeschot thrilled the audience by joining the “Elvetas” on stage to kick off the conference. She was natural!
Over the course of the week, nearly 1,000 rehabilitation nurses attended a wide range of sessions dealing with many in-demand topics such as the CARE Tool, RAC, CARF, stroke, and new therapies in brain injury. In addition, the exhibit hall boasted more than 50 booths, providing attendees access to state-of-the-art products, services, and information pertinent to the demands of rehabilitation nursing practices.
